As a professional musician, Dan has enjoyed teaching saxophone to students of all ages and abilities for over 5 years. As a graduate of the prestigious 'Joint Course' between the RNCM and University of Manchester, Dan is comfortable working within a range of genres, including pop, jazz, theatre and classical music, performing 100+ events across the UK and abroad each year. 
From his home in Withington, Dan loves teaching the saxophone because of the wide range of musical interests his students pursue. This includes complete beginners, those preparing for ABRSM examinations, more experienced classical and jazz saxophonists and those with a particular interest in developing areas such as jazz/pop improvisation. Lessons with Dan are fun, engaging and challenging, and he’s always keen to get to know each student's musical interests in order to tailor the lessons to achieve their individual goals.
